How SEO & GEO Increased Vergola Brisbane’s Google Visibility and Quote Enquiries
One of our recent projects has been a major SEO, GEO and AEO update for Vergola Brisbane.
The goal was to improve how the website performs in traditional Google search and in AI-powered search and answer platforms such as ChatGPT and Google’s AI results.

The Situation
The project included:
-
Creating a 4,000+ word Ultimate Guide to Opening Louvre Roofs in Brisbane
-
Expanding the FAQ page to around 48 questions, including approximately 30 new FAQs
-
Grouping FAQs around planning and approvals, renovations, structural options, 3-D design, builders, architects and commercial projects
-
Creating a dedicated Colours & Options page
-
Strengthening content for builders, architects and construction companies
-
Improving page titles, H1 headings, metadata and internal linking
-
Reinforcing authority signals, including more than 1,200 Brisbane installations and Phil Ewin’s 37+ years of experience
-
Structuring content around natural customer questions so Google and AI systems can understand and reference it more easily
The results so far have been very positive.
We have been tracking Google searches that do not include the word “Brisbane”. This gives us a better indication of whether the local Vergola Brisbane website is gaining authority against broader corporate and international Vergola websites.
Vergola Brisbane is now appearing on Page 1 for searches including:
-
“Louvre Roof”
-
“Opening Louvre Roof”
-
“Opening Roof”
Over the past 30 days, the website has also recorded:
-
327 clicks from Google – up 14%
-
Homepage visits – up 12%
-
Contact Vergola Brisbane page visits – up 9%
-
17 quote enquiries submitted through the contact form – up 42%
The last figure matters most. Rankings and traffic are useful, but the objective is to generate more genuine customer enquiries.
It is still early, so I would not attribute every increase solely to SEO, GEO and AEO. However, the combination of stronger Page 1 rankings, increased Google clicks and a 42% increase in quote enquiries is encouraging.
This project also shows how search marketing is changing. It is no longer enough to optimise a website around a small list of keywords. Businesses need useful, authoritative content that answers real customer questions and gives both traditional search engines and AI systems a clear understanding of the business, its expertise and its services.
If your website looks good but is not generating enough search visibility, traffic or enquiries, I’d be happy to discuss what could be improved.
